Aruba SMS numbers: +297 seven-digit mobile and VoIP ranges

Seven digits do not automatically mean a mobile number

Aruba's telecommunications directorate reported a seven-digit +297 national plan to the ITU. Its 2011 allocation table identifies 56 and 592 among mobile ranges, while 28 and 501 are VoIP and 52 is fixed. The document explains the numbering scheme at that date; it is neither today's stock list nor an app's acceptance policy. Do not infer the type of a number offered in a particular SMS4U pool solely from its length.

First check whether the sender's region menu offers Aruba. When it already adds +297, follow its instructions for the seven-digit national part; when it requests the full international number, use the complete number shown in the order. Duplicating +297 is a common field error.

Quote the exact app before comparing pools

Telegram and WhatsApp are separate SMS4U products even within Aruba. Select the sender, then compare the live Smart recommendation and eligible Select, Flex or Global pools. The English USD amount is a reference from a changing snapshot; review the order duration and actual CNY debit at confirmation. A regulator's allocation table does not prove that SMS4U owns a physical Aruban SIM.

When a number is rejected or a text does not arrive

Keep the exact sender error if it says the number type is unsupported. Check the sender's official rules instead of guessing a carrier from an old prefix list. If no pool can supply a number at confirmation, recheck current choices. If an order exists but no text appears, examine its timer, the app's delivery method and the SMS status. The order receives texts only; it offers no voice channel or continuing access to future recovery codes.
