Naver SMS verification: registration, identity checks and country offers

Separate Naver SMS registration from identity verification

Account registration, account recovery, real-name checks and age verification can ask for different information. An SMS4U number can receive a text for an eligible phone step; it does not establish your legal identity or replace a passport.

For an ordinary registration code field, check the country codes available on that screen. If the process asks for Korean carrier authentication, PASS or identity documents, read Naver's instructions before purchasing. Receiving a text is not evidence that a number satisfies that identity process.

Naver describes a passport verification route for certain overseas users. Its eligibility and service scope are determined by Naver. Read the overseas passport guidance; an SMS order cannot substitute for it.

Choose a country accepted by your current Naver form

The table shows countries with a Naver offer in the SMS4U snapshot. A listed price does not mean every Naver registration or recovery flow accepts that calling code. Check the target form, then search the matching country or prefix.

1. Identify whether you are registering, confirming a login or recovering an account.
2. Read the phone field and any real-name or carrier requirement.
3. Select Naver and the matching country in SMS4U, then confirm price, expiry and cancellation rules.
4. Request the code, read it in Active orders and return to the same Naver flow.

For an existing account, use its registered recovery details or Naver's official recovery process first. A newly assigned random number generally cannot replace the number already bound to that account.

A sent-message notice does not prove delivery

Naver's verification troubleshooting guidance discusses verification limits, account associations and some carrier processes using an app instead of a normal SMS. Check that the code request targets the complete number in your order and read the specific error.

• Wrong country or duplicate prefix: correct the selected country and number format.
• Carrier or identity information required: return to the identity instructions. A price quote cannot confirm eligibility.
• Account association or attempt limit: follow Naver's process and do not access an account that belongs to someone else.
• Order nearing expiry: check cancellation eligibility and refund status for that particular order.
