QQ SMS verification: number risk checks and account recovery

QQ can use SMS, but a code is not approval of a phone number

Tencent's QQ Number Rules list mobile SMS among possible ways to apply for a QQ number, subject to the methods Tencent currently provides. The same rules say Tencent may assess a bound phone's security risk using carrier information and number status, and may reject a clearly high-risk number for registration or a binding change. SMS4U stock for the `tencentqq` service therefore cannot show that a particular region appears in the current QQ form, that Tencent accepts a particular phone, or that an account will be created. Check the actual QQ app or official website before considering an order. A text cannot replace an identity-information request or another security review shown by Tencent.

SMS4U does not offer mainland China numbers. A mainland-number requirement, an identity requirement or the original phone already bound to an account cannot automatically be replaced with a number from another country. Even if a QQ form lets you select an overseas calling code, that does not prove that every overseas number is eligible. If the screen is verifying an old bound phone, a new number will not receive messages addressed to that old phone.

Check the new-number form before comparing country offers

Use the offers below only when the current QQ screen accepts a new phone that you have the right to use and explicitly offers SMS to that phone. A US and a UK number have different calling codes. Check QQ's country list and input format first, then compare SMS4U's live pool, receiving window and final CNY charge. A quoted activation is not Tencent's phone-risk assessment or a registration success rate.

Once an order is active, request the official text during the receiving window and check Active orders. If it does not arrive, recheck the country code, digits and selected verification route. Avoid repeated requests that make it hard to tell which code is current. An error about a risky number, unsupported region or further verification is a QQ account-policy decision; simply waiting for an SMS cannot solve it. Follow Tencent's on-screen instructions or official customer-support route. SMS4U cannot perform Tencent's security review, identity verification, voice call or account unfreezing.

Plan for access after the first code

Tencent's rules tell users to safeguard passwords, one-time codes and bound mobile phones, and to act when a device or number is lost or retired. Tencent provides an official verification and account-appeal route if you cannot sign in, but does not promise that an appeal will restore every account. If a QQ account will hold games, email, contacts or purchases, a short activation cannot guarantee delivery of a later security text. Keep recovery information that you can continue to access while signed in. If you have lost the old bound number, use Tencent's official recovery process rather than expecting a new number to receive the old number's messages.
