Discord phone verification: check number rules before ordering

Check whether Discord is asking for a phone

Discord's registration guide permits an email address or a phone number. An email sign-up does not mean every later step sends a text, although Discord may request phone verification for account safety or another action. Follow the prompt actually on your screen before ordering. An email confirmation, CAPTCHA or sign-in issue is a different task; an SMS order will not complete it.

Discord's help center explicitly rules out VoIP, burner and landline numbers for phone verification. SMS4U stock and prices show that an activation product may be available in a country; they do not establish that its number meets Discord's requirements. When Discord requires a compliant mobile number, use a real number you can keep. SMS4U cannot change Discord's acceptance decision.

Separate number errors from a missing text

If Discord rejects the number before sending a code, check the selected country, calling code, format and number type. A number already attached to another Discord account cannot simply be bound to yours. Remove it from an account you own or use Discord support; do not attempt to access somebody else's account. For a recently used or rate-limited number, observe Discord's cooldown rather than repeatedly requesting codes or replacing numbers.

Only after Discord accepts the number and says it sent an SMS should you check Active orders and the activation window. Make sure the form contains the exact ordered number and does not repeat a calling code; request a resend only when Discord permits one. SMS4U receives texts, not voice calls, and cannot carry out Discord appeals or identity checks. A temporary number might be unavailable for a later account recovery request.

Plan for later account access

Discord may ask for another check weeks after a phone is added. For a community account you value, maintain an email address, signed-in device and security methods you can still use then. Stop when a number points to another person's account. The country table below is indicative; confirm the live pool and final CNY debit in the picker. Read the US or UK guide when those countries fit the form and your real use case.
