Determine whether the task is a new-number check or an existing-account sign-in
Snapchat's Mobile Number setting can verify a number you enter. Its documented flow includes Send via SMS and may also offer Call me instead. SMS4U receives texts; it cannot answer a verification call. SMS two-factor authentication is different: a later login code goes to the mobile number already linked to that account. Buying a different number cannot redirect a message addressed to the old one. On some Android devices a Google prompt checks the number with the carrier and no SMS or call is sent at all. Read the present button and intended recipient before comparing any offers.
Snapchat says only one unique mobile number can be verified per account. Verifying the same contact on a newer account may remove it from an older one. A number receiving one text therefore does not prove that it can be safely reused as a durable contact for multiple accounts. Never enter a code for an account that is not yours.

Compare a country only when Snapchat offers SMS to a new number
If the current Snapchat form accepts a number you can enter and offers Send via SMS, match its country selector and calling code to the stock table below. Obtain the number first, request the code for the current operation, and read it in Active orders within the order window. If the form shows the last digits of a phone already bound to the account, use Snapchat's recovery path instead; a new activation cannot receive the old phone's messages. A too-many-requests warning is a temporary platform limit. Snapchat advises waiting before retrying; more number purchases do not remove that limit.
The displayed offers are a stock and price snapshot, not a promise that Snapchat will accept a number or finish an account review. The picker presents the current pool, duration and final CNY debit. The US and UK guides explain those calling codes, but choose a country only when it fits Snapchat's current form and your account.
Plan for the next sign-in before an activation ends
Snapchat sends future SMS two-factor login codes to the linked number. Its guidance says to keep a mobile number and email current when using 2FA and to create a separate Recovery Code in advance. That code must be prepared while you still have account access. Buying a short-lived number after losing the old one cannot generate a Recovery Code for that existing account. Snapchat also notes that using a Recovery Code turns off 2FA, so it must be configured again afterward.
If the account, friends or Memories matter beyond this one session, use a phone number you can keep and manage the official recovery methods. A temporary SMS activation can help with the one new-number text step shown now; it cannot promise future login, account recovery or clearance of other security checks.
