Viber SMS verification: activation methods and country prices

Check the verification method Viber actually offers

Your phone number is an important part of activating a Viber account. Before choosing an SMS4U offer, open the current Viber activation screen and check whether it lets you receive the code by text message. SMS, a voice call and automatic call verification require different receiving capabilities.

An SMS4U SMS order does not provide incoming call records or voice codes. If Viber only offers a call or Flash Call, use a number with the required calling capability or consult Viber support before purchasing.

Viber's official troubleshooting guidance also excludes internet-based VoIP numbers from activation. An available offer in our snapshot cannot establish whether Viber will accept the particular number assigned to your order. Read the official activation guidance and check these conditions first.

Enter the number for the SMS verification flow

1. Check that Viber's selected country matches your intended number country, even if the app fills it automatically.
2. Choose a country from the table. In the SMS4U picker, confirm Viber, the number pool, current price and order expiry.
3. Use the complete assigned number as your reference. If the country code already has a separate field, follow Viber's instructions without entering the prefix twice.
4. Request a code only when Viber offers SMS. Read the new message in Active orders, then enter the matching code in Viber.

When changing devices, consider chat backups and recovery before proceeding. Verifying a number does not itself migrate previous conversations. Viber's phone setup instructions explain the device setup process.

Identify the failure before trying again

• Number format error: check the selected country, duplicate prefix and missing digits before requesting another message.
• Waiting for a call: confirm that the screen has not switched to call verification. An SMS order cannot display those call details.
• Activation failed or attempt limit: follow Viber's current instructions. Repeated purchases may encounter the same unresolved restriction.
• No message after requesting SMS: check Viber's sending status and the SMS4U order's remaining time. Cancellation eligibility follows that order's controls and rules.

Is a temporary number suitable for a lasting Viber account?

Later activation may require the same number again. Keep a number you can control over time for important conversations and maintain suitable recovery options. A short SMS order cannot promise future access to the same number.
