Revolut SMS codes: phone changes, login and lost access
Use Revolut’s own screen to identify the requested phone step; a one-time SMS order cannot replace account recovery or identity review.

Separate new-number confirmation from account access
Revolut’s phone-change guide says a signed-in user can edit a phone number in personal details and confirm the new one with a one-time passcode. If sign-in is unavailable, the app has a Lost access to my phone number route that may ask for an old number, email, passcode, selfie or ID photo. Receiving a code on a new number does not itself restore an existing account or complete a financial-account review.
Initiate the action only in your own Revolut app and compare the masked destination with the number on the screen. A newly ordered number cannot receive texts sent to an old bound phone. SMS4U cannot submit a selfie, ID document or in-app approval, and a country prefix does not establish Revolut service eligibility.

Use the actual error before requesting again
Revolut’s troubleshooting guidance points to the saved phone number, SMS filtering and phone settings, with in-app support if the code is still unavailable. Multiple requests may leave older codes unusable or trigger additional checks. A product listing in SMS4U is not evidence that Revolut sent a text. Keep the exact Revolut error and distinguish an account-side refusal from a sent message that did not reach the order inbox.
For an account holding funds, a one-time number is a poor lasting login factor. Use a contact method you can continue controlling, update it through Revolut’s official route and keep the app’s recovery options available. Account opening, identity and compliance decisions remain with Revolut.
Inspect the country pair rather than a generic price
Revolut has a live USD activation reference in a limited set of SMS4U countries. The Morocco and Australia guides can help you inspect current products and number format; they do not establish Revolut’s policy for a virtual number or a resident account. Review the exact pool, CNY order debit and timer in the picker.
If you are trying to recover an old account, follow Revolut’s Lost access flow before deciding whether a new phone is needed. SMS4U provides incoming SMS, not calls, identity checks, banking access or account approval.
