HER SMS activation: check sign-in, country code and account recovery

Check whether your HER screen actually asks for a text

HER's help lists phone number and Instagram sign-in, with Apple ID available on iOS and Google sign-in on Android. Text and data charges may apply to the phone route. That does not mean every account or sign-in requires a purchased SMS number. HER is a mobile app, with no supported browser version, so check the choices shown in your own iOS or Android app first.

If you can still enter through Apple ID, Google or Instagram, check that route before starting a new phone order. Creating a new profile is different from recovering an existing one: a new short-term number cannot receive texts addressed to the old number on your account. HER's profile verification is a separate process; an SMS receipt does not complete photo or platform review.

If you choose phone sign-in, verify the exact step

1. Open phone sign-in or registration in HER and check whether it accepts the country code you intend to use. An SMS4U offer for a country does not establish that HER accepts its numbers.

Add lasting access before the temporary order expires

HER's Connected Accounts guidance explains how to add another login method while signed in. On iOS the listed choices include Apple ID, Instagram, Facebook and phone; on Android they include Google, Instagram, Facebook and phone. Follow the options in your actual account and check that the connection completes. HER warns that losing your main method without a backup may prevent recovery of the previous profile.

For an account you want to keep, use a phone number you control long term or a durable linked sign-in. A short SMS order covers only its validity period and cannot promise future login texts.
