Etsy offers SMS, phone and authenticator methods for two-factor authentication. Call and text verification are limited to supported countries. If your country is absent from its list, inspect the authenticator option; SMS4U inventory is not a substitute for that list. A text order does not generate authenticator codes or provide a verification call.
Etsy's sign-in help also directs some security-code prompts to the account email. Inspect the masked destination and chosen method before ordering. An email security code and an enabled SMS second factor are different channels.

Save backup access before losing the number
Etsy supplies nine-digit backup codes when enabling two-factor authentication. Each works once; save them when shown and keep them private. Updating an SMS or phone number can require verification of the existing number. Plan this before a short text order ends.
If already locked out, look for your saved backup codes and Etsy's support route. A newly purchased number does not redirect the old account's messages. For a shop you intend to operate continuously, control of the verification method matters beyond the cost of a single text.
Phone checks do not establish seller eligibility
Compare Etsy quotes in Slovenia or the United States, then confirm the live pool and price. Code-delivery support, shop location, payment details and seller reviews are separate checks. Receiving an SMS does not complete identity or merchant approval.
Before ordering, confirm an actual SMS route, an eligible number region and access to your own account. Resolve an unsupported country or inaccessible old number through the appropriate official process. A higher-priced pool cannot promise to bypass those restrictions, and the table does not rank acceptance rates.
