BeReal SMS codes: sign-up, mistaken texts and account access
BeReal says sign-up or sign-in can trigger a text code. Confirm you initiated the request and know how to handle a message sent to the wrong number.

Request codes only for your own account
BeReal's Help Centre says a text code is sent during account creation or sign-in. It notes that someone may enter a number incorrectly, sending a code to the wrong person, and that an account cannot be created without the correct code. If you receive an unexpected text, do not forward it or try to sign in to an unfamiliar account.
Before ordering, confirm that you opened BeReal yourself and the app is requesting SMS. A BeReal product in a number picker does not promise that the platform accepts a country, device or account. SMS4U provides message reception; it does not access a BeReal profile or replace in-app support.

Consider future account access
One code only shows that a message reached the number displayed for that order. It does not give you lasting control of that number. Later sign-ins, alerts or recovery may still depend on the contact method on the account, and a new order cannot receive messages sent elsewhere. For an existing account, check BeReal's official app and help for its current recovery options.
A number rejected before sending, a missing message and an account-side rejection are different stages. Keep the app's prompt, check the number format and follow the order timer. Protect people when a message is mistaken
BeReal says an unsolicited code may result from someone entering the wrong number. Do not post a code in a public comment or support chat, follow unknown links, or enter a password in response to a text. If requests continue, contact BeReal through its official support route instead of trying to access the account.
If you need a new number, compare the format notes for Colombia and Peru, then check BeReal's live availability in the picker. USD reference quotes can change; your actual purchase is debited from a CNY balance. A one-time order is not a durable recovery number.
